Thank you for supporting NH’s only organization focused on attracting and retaining young talent!

In an effort to better serve and promote those that are represented on our Board of Advisors, we invite you to take this survey. This will enable us to better identify opportunities available to our state’s young people, in addition to ensuring our communications are going to the appropriate contact at your company.

Below are a number of resources that can help you take full advantage of your Stay Work Play Board of Advisors membership and can assist you in your efforts to attract and retain young talent.

2022 Meetings

  • Creating family-friendly businesses

Nathan Fink explores components of family-friendly businesses and how the connection to the community and its many resources can help attract and retain young employees. Understanding employee stressors and available supports is foundational to building a resilient, stable, and productive workforce.

  • What do the kids want?

New Hampshire's young talent attraction and retention efforts have focused mostly on young adults, not youth in middle and high school. So what do these even younger people think about New Hampshire and how does that affect their education, work, and life choices here in the Granite State?

Find out from UNH Professor Andrew Coppens, who discussed the findings of the recently-released Youth Retention Initiative, an effort designed to deepen understanding of how youth and emerging adults are considered in efforts to retain and recruit young people, as well as the messages young people hear about what is possible for them in our state and how these messages guide their future planning.

  • The 3 P's of Hiring: People, Process, Pipeline

In this presentation, gain insights and tips from Hire Alliance co-owner and talent acquisition professional Jay Brunetti that your organization can use to help ensure that you are finding, and keeping, the talent you need.

Stay Work Play Strategic Plan and Initiatives

In the spring of 2018, Stay Work Play released the results of a survey the organization commissioned collect data on the reasons that young people stay in, or might leave New Hampshire. These results, combined with conversations with our Board of Advisors members, form the basis of Stay Work Play’s 2019-2021 strategic plan. Click the images below to learn more.
