Since 2019, Stay Work Play has engaged in
issues-based advocacy
at the State House in Concord.
Every two years, Stay Work Play NH commissions the state’s most comprehensive study of young people’s perspectives—the Quality of Life Survey. The 2025 findings are in, and they provide a striking portrait of both the opportunities and obstacles facing the next generation in the Granite State.
This isn’t just another report. It is the only statewide dataset of its kind, capturing the voices of young Granite Staters on what matters most: housing, jobs, childcare, community, belonging, and whether New Hampshire feels like a place where they can picture a long-term future.
Helping to guide this work is the Stay Work Play Advocacy Network, a group of volunteers that meets virtually, December through June, to learn more about the policy issues affecting the attraction and retention of young people in New Hampshire and make recommendations with regard to Stay Work Play’s policy positions.

Stay Work Play New Hampshire has announced our 2025 Policy Positions, with housing affordability leading the charge as the organization’s most critical legislative focus. As young people continue to grapple with skyrocketing housing costs, limited social opportunities, and the rising cost of living, Stay Work Play is committed to advancing practical, bipartisan solutions to these challenges. The newly released policy report outlines key legislative positions that exemplify the organization’s commitment to making the state more attractive and accessible for young talent.
