The Annual Hampton Beach Children’s Festival is the family fun event of the summer, kicking off on Monday, August 17th with a magic show by BJ Hickman on the famous Hampton Beach Seashell Stage and other activities every day at 10 a.m. and building up to a Giant Costume Parade that marches almost the length of Hampton Beach on Friday, August 21st at 11 a.m. while Mr. Aaron entertains the crowd at the Seashell Stage. The parade begins at the parking lot of the Hampton Beach State Park. Every child gets a prize just for being a part of it!
Each day will be a blockbuster, filled with non-stop activity and entertainment, including mini-golf, free ice cream, dancing, storytellers, balloons, and more. There’s even a kids’ bumper sticker contest.

A Giant Costume Parade is held at 11 a.m. Families are asked to meet at the State Park at 10 a.m., where judges will select winning costumes, including group costumes. Ocean Boulevard is then closed down to vehicular traffic while children march from the State Park to the Seashell Stage. Winners are announced at the stage and awards are given out. Every child who participates wins a prize!
