This event is for spectators and participants as participants try to ski or snowboard across a man-made pond without falling in. Some make it across the pond but many make a splash and take the icy plunge.

The judges hand out prizes for Best Costume, Best Splash and Best Skim.

Pond Skim Registration is from 8:30am to 11:30am outside the Valley Lodge.
Event starts at 1pm.

The entry fee is FREE but the purchase of at least a Valley Area Lift Ticket (and must be purchased in advance at patspeak.com) or Pats Peak Season Pass and a costume are required to enter the contest.

Entry is limited to the first 100 participants.

There is a PBR Beer Garden for ages 21+ at the Pond Skim from 11am-3pm.
