Advocacy Network: Supporting NH Families with MomsRising NH
Join Stay Work Play NH for our next Advocacy Network session, featuring a conversation with MomsRising NH leaders Nancy Glynn and MacKenzie Nicholson.
The New Hampshire State MomsForce, powered by MomsRising, is a network of more than 10,000 Granite Staters working to ensure the voices of moms, caregivers, and families are heard at every level of government. Since 2011, they’ve helped drive meaningful policy change across the state from historic investments in childcare and paid family leave to expanded healthcare access, maternal health advancements, and protections for LGBTQ+ communities.
In this session, we’ll dig into:
MomsRising NH’s mission and impact across the state
Key advocacy priorities, including strengthening childcare and public education
How these issues intersect with affordability and quality of life for young people in NH
Clear, tangible ways to get involved and make your voice heard
At a time when childcare, healthcare, and community supports are shaping whether young people can stay and build their lives here, this conversation will connect the dots between lived experience and policy and show how collective advocacy drives real change.
This is a free, virtual session open to all. Come ready to listen, learn, and be part of the conversation.
Since 2019, Stay Work Play has been a leading voice for nonpartisan, issues-driven advocacy in New Hampshire, shaping policies that influence the state's ability to attract and retain young talent. At the heart of this effort is the Stay Work Play Advocacy Network—a passionate group of volunteers who meet virtually from December through June. Each meeting features guest speakers, including policy experts and lawmakers, who provide valuable insights on the key issues impacting young people in New Hampshire. These discussions guide the Committee’s recommendations and help shape Stay Work Play’s policy positions.
Advocacy Network meetings are held virtually and a Zoom Link will be sent to all registrants in advance of the meeting.
