July 3 City of Portsmouth Independence Day Fireworks, Laser Show, and Leary Field Entertainment

1:30 to 10 pm on Leary Field in Downtown Portsmouth

Live entertainment throughout the day, including the grand fireworks finale, Wilcox is proud to help create memorable experiences for Portsmouth families and visitors.

  • 1:30 pm - Opening ceremonies

  • 2:00 pm - Black Sheep

  • 4:15 pm - Texas Pete

  • 6:30 pm - Redemption Band

  • 9:00 pm - National Anthem Performance

  • 9:15 pm - Fireworks and Laser Show

The rain date is July 5. The event is free and open to the public. See parking and street closure information.  

The July 3rd Laser show presented by Key Auto Group of Portsmouth is modern visual experience lighting up the Portsmouth skyline and adding another exciting dimension to the city's 250th celebration.
