Manchester has spent 180 years becoming itself. From the mills along the Merrimack to the neighborhoods, industries, and people who have reshaped the city again and again, its history is not one fixed moment but like the river a continuous act of change. To reflect on a place is to look closely at what came before, recognize what remains, and notice what is still unfolding.

Mosaic Art Collective is seeking submissions that explore Manchester's history, identity, and evolution over the past 180 years, including the city as it exists today. Works that reference the city's industrial past, its people, its neighborhoods, or its present moment and ongoing transformation are welcome for this juried open call. Work can be documentary or interpretive, as long as it speaks to the theme of reflection on Manchester's history and present.
